Terms of Use
MindMuse is developed by The Mind Studio
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using MindMuse (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute an agreement between you and The Mind Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Install and use MindMuse on Mac computers that you own or control
- Use the App for personal, non-commercial creative purposes
This license does not include the right to sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise dispose of the App or any rights therein.
3. MindMuse Passes & Purchases
3.1 Free Tier
The free tier of MindMuse includes limited access to the Music Studio (up to 30 seconds per generation) and Speech Studio (up to 300 characters per generation).
3.2 Paid Passes (Non-Consumable, Lifetime)
MindMuse offers one-time lifetime purchase passes:
- Composer Pass — Unlocks full-length music generation (up to 240s/360s), AI Cover, Lego Stems, and inpainting.
- Narrator Pass — Unlocks unrestricted speech text length (20,000+ characters), zero-shot Voice Cloning, and Voice Design.
- Both Passes Forever — Grants both Composer Pass and Narrator Pass in a single lifetime purchase.
Lifetime passes are Non-Consumable purchases processed through the Mac App Store. They are permanently associated with your Apple ID and can be restored on any eligible Mac using Restore Purchases.
3.3 Payment & In-App Purchases
All transactions are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system (StoreKit). Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
3.4 Refunds
All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or at Apple's discretion. For refund requests, contact Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com.
3.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify pass prices or promotional offerings at any time. Any price changes will not affect previously purchased lifetime passes.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 The App
MindMuse, including its design, code, branding, and all bundled AI models, is owned by The Mind Studio and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its source code.
4.2 Your Generated Content
Audio content you generate using MindMuse is yours. We claim no ownership over music tracks, speech files, or other output you create using the App.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of generated content complies with applicable laws, including copyright laws related to any reference audio, lyrics, or third-party content you input.
4.3 Third-Party AI Models
MindMuse bundles third-party open-weight AI models (e.g., ACE-Step, Stable Audio, YuE). These models are subject to their own respective licenses. Commercial use of generated content may be subject to restrictions under those model licenses. Please review the license of each model you use.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use MindMuse to:
- Generate content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
- Create content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise unlawful
- Generate synthetic voice content that impersonates real individuals without their consent (voice fraud / deepfakes for malicious purposes)
- Circumvent, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the App's entitlement system or licensing mechanisms
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Privacy
Your use of MindMuse is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Third-Party Services
MindMuse may integrate with optional third-party AI providers (for the AI Producer feature). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party providers.
10. Updates to the App
We may update MindMuse from time to time. Updates may change, add, or remove features. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes to these Terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license to use the App if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Mind Studio is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or our website. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
