1. Privacy by Design
MindCraft Studio is built with a "Hybrid-Private" architecture. Our core philosophy is that your creative process should revolve around your local hardware. While the majority of features run entirely locally on your Mac, we also offer optional cloud-based capabilities to enhance your workflow, while maintaining industry-leading privacy and data disposal standards.
2. Data Collection & Processing
Local Generation (Default): By default, all AI model inference and image generation happen locally on your Mac using the MLX framework. In this mode, no prompt text or image data is ever transmitted to our servers.
Cloud-Based Generation: If you choose to use our cloud-based models, your prompts and any reference images you provide are transmitted to our secure cloud computing partners for processing. To ensure your privacy, all transmission data (prompts and reference images) and the resulting generated images are automatically purged from our cloud infrastructure after they are successfully delivered back to your device.
Account & Synchronization: When you sign in to MindCraft Studio, we collect your email address to manage your account, synchronize your subscription status, and manage usage credits.
Usage Analytics: To improve app stability, we may collect anonymous, non-identifiable technical data (e.g., crash reports or system version). This data is strictly technical and does not include your personal information, prompts, or images.
3. Data Retention & Deletion
Because we do not maintain a permanent cloud library of your generated images, you have absolute control over their retention on your Mac. For account-related data (email and sync metadata), you can contact us to request full account deletion. We do not maintain any cloud-based backups of your creative content.
4. Cloud Computing Partners
When using cloud features, your data is processed by our secure infrastructure partners. These partners are required to process data solely for the purpose of generating your requested content and are prohibited from using your data to train their own models or for any other secondary purposes.
5. Privacy Rights
We comply with global privacy standards, including GDPR and CCPA. Because we do not store your content on our servers, your "Right to be Forgotten" is exercised by deleting the local data on your device or requesting deletion of your account metadata.
